I never had a school teacher tell me to to do so, but the Best Teacher has said so and that's all I need. <BR/><BR/>Sharing the truth with my Grandpa is such a hurtful task for me; I know that sounds strange. I so long for him to *see* what I see, to know what I know, but he doesn't- can't because God has not chosen to remove the blinders from his eyes at this point in time?- and I have to deal with the fact that he doesn't know God or want to know God, and the part that hurts is not only that but also that he gets resentful of me for being saved now, as if I chose it- God chose me- only he knows why- not that I would ever wish things any different. When He tells me things like " I used to be able to have intellectual conversations with you and now I can't" it stings a bit ( more than a bit? he is the only father/ mother/everything that I have eaver had/known...) but I know that my heart belongs to the Lord and He comforts me. I know also that if He is for me, who can come against me? Still I sit here on the computer at one in the morning unable to sleep as soundly as my kiddos because I feel his dissapointment? with me; I guess this is what God meant when He said He has come to seperate fathers and sons and mothers and daughters (if one must seperate from them, in some ways, to give their heart fully to God.) I don't know, I'm rambling. It's late. Thanks for being here for me to unload on. Lol. <BR/><BR/>I love that you have a cooking blog now... I have come to LOVE Esther in the last 6 years more than ever. Lately I feel a deep need to REALLY focus on the next four years. I only have my oldest son for that much longer in my homeschool. The curriculum I am using right now is very deep into using the Bible at it's core. I feel this year we are going to learn the Old Testament like we have never before ! The other thing I love about how the Lord has made me is that I am to encourage others. It flow naturally and I love doing what the Lord has called me to do. Plus the Lord has put me in a place ( geographically that many people are coming and going at my MIL's to work on our farm. Soooo we can be available to share the Good News. I'm sorry this is almost the size of a post.
